Aberlea Timboon gathers together
RESIDENTS and committee members of Aberlea Timboon joined together to enjoy a barbecue last week.
Laughter and conversion flowed during the meal, according to Aberlea Timboon committee member Enid O’Connor.
“The highlight was the Norwegian dessert provided by Gunn Anderson Krumkake,” she said.
“This traditional treat was enjoyed by all as Gunn shared what Christmas was like in Norway Aberlea.
“Timboon is continuing the secure unit project with providing more secure living units in the future.”
After three weeks of intensive ticket selling by the new Aberlea Timboon Life Membership recipient Darcy Howard the $300 valued raffle was drawn Friday night during the Timboon Community Christmas gathering.
Cheryl Le Brun from Timboon was the winner, with daughter Roxy collecting the hamper after the draw.
“Aberlea Timboon wishes to thank everyone who have supported us throughout the year, through our raffles.
“We wish you all a very Happy Christmas, be safe and we hope to see again in 2024.”
