Accolades continue for Keayang Zahara
ECKLIN South’s Lee family is once again celebrating success, both on and off the trotting track.
After a highly successful 2024 race season, ‘Keayang Zahara’ has been named New Zealand’s Harnesslink 3YO Trotting Filly of the Year.
The superstar trotter set 2024 alight, recording 14 wins from 14 starts, including three major features in New Zealand.
The filly was among several award winners named during the NZB Standardbred Harness Racing Awards Night in New Zealand last weekend.
For trainers Marg and Paddy Lee, and driver Jason (Lee), the award tops off a highly successful 2024 and is a strong lead-in for what will be a busy 2025 harness racing campaign.
Locals will have the opportunity to see Keayang Zahara on course this Friday night, February 14, at the Terang Annual Cup.
