MORTLAKE Cricket Club has installed new cabinets in the bar area at Wilsons DC Farran Oval thanks to a generous donation from BH Kitchens.

Mortlake Cricket Club vice-president Todd Robertson said the new cabinets “turned out great” and would be put to good use.

“These cabinets will help with storage because the area was a bit of a nothing-space,” he said.

“We recently had a new coolroom installed and we also wanted some extra storage to be able to lock valuables away when the clubroom is busy during the cricket season.

“The cabinets have come up really well; the boys at BH Kitchens have done a great job.”

Mr Robertson said the club was always looking to upgrade its facilities.

“The cricket club, along with Terang Mortlake Football Netball Club and the rec reserve committee put a lot of time, money and effort in to this facility; especially over the last three to five years,” he said.

“This is another thing to tick off the list, and it’s why it’s so important to have sponsors like BH Kitchens that can donate their time and effort.”

Mr Robertson said such upgrades could not go ahead without the generous support of club sponsors.

“Thank you to BH Kitchens,” he said.

“We’ve got a lot of good sponsors, and this is just another who like to give back and help us out.”
