All day comp at Terang
TWENTY-four players contested an all-day competition at the Terang Golf Club earlier this week.
Another four players contested a nine-hole event.
The ladies’ winner was Wendy O’Connor with an outstanding score of 48points while the runner-up, with another great score of 38, was Kate Cornelissen.
The men’s winner was Caleb Kavanagh on 37 points followed by Terry Coolan on 36.
Balls down the line went to Jane Heffernan 37 points, Judy Carmody 36, Margi Driscoll on 35 and Aileen Clarke on 35.
Nearest the pins: 3rd Max Kavanagh, 6th Colin Venn and 11th Lynette Coxon.
Winner of the 9 hole stableford event was Pat Bourke 21pts.
