All-day competition a success
THE all-day competition has once again proven to be a great success at the Terang golf course.
Thirty-nine players competed in last week’s event.
The ladies winner was Aileen Clarke with 33 points on a countback from the runner-up Cate Glennen, also 33.
The men’s winner was Harvey Roberts 37 on a countback from Frank O’Connor and Caleb Kavanagh.
The runner-up was Frank O’Connor on 37 points.
Balls down the line went to Caleb Kavanagh 37, Chris Coolahan 36, Billy Wood 35, George Beasley 34, Fred Beasley 34, Ross Thompson 34and Anthony Kavanagh 34.
Nearest the pins: 3rd Cate Glennon, 6th Fred Beasley, 8th Michael Sargeant and 11th Terry Beasley.
