All over 50 eligible for vaccination
CAMPERDOWN and district residents continue to roll up their sleeves for the COVID vaccination efforts.

CAMPERDOWN and district residents continue to roll up their sleeves for the COVID vaccination efforts.
South West Healthcare (SWH) acute nurse manager Tash Swayn said vaccination clinics were being held at Camperdown each Tuesday and Friday at the Killara Centre for eligible residents.
Speaking with The Camperdown Chronicle last Friday, Ms Swayn said there were 126 doses forthe day.
“They (the vaccination clinics) are going really good,” she said.
Ms Swayn said the clinic was now open to all residents above 50 years of age, with walk in spots available some days.
“Tuesday and Fridays are for certain. Unfortunately we don’t know too far in advance how many doses we’re going to get,” she said.
“We’ve given more than 500 doses so far at Camperdown.”
Ms Swayn said residents had been eager to get their vaccination as soon as they were able.
“I think people are excited. They just feel really lucky they can get it,” she said.
“The public are doing a great job, and as soon as we put it up (on the SWH website there are appointments) they are onto it.”
Ms Swayn thanked the Corangamite Shire for its support of the vaccination clinic.
