From the latest in agricultural and farming machinery, services and technology through to fashion, wines and gourmet food, there will be something for everyone at this month’s event.

As well as a multitude of food and locally sourced wines, there will be three food courts and plenty of shaded areas to rest and relax and take in the event.

Visitors are encouraged to meet up with friends for a delicious lunch and explore Yakka Park.

Organisers are excited to this year host the 2026 National Yard Dog Championships.

The first yard dog trial to be held in South Australia was at Lucindale over 40 years ago.

The South East Field Days has hosted numerous South Australia Yard Dog Championships over this time.

It is a very popular trial among yard dog trialers across Australia, with two permanent trial courses.

Trialing will start on Thursday, March 19 and continue through Friday and Saturday at ‘Kelpie Korner.’

The korner will again feature plenty of seating and shaded areas, providing the perfect location for spectators to take in the great work of dogs and handlers.

Another feature at this year’s field days will be performances from the Airtime FMX team – don’t miss the team in action as they launch motorcycles high in the air while performing some death-defying stunts.

Airtime FMX features some of the most experienced Show FMX riders in the world, with the very essence of the team centred around professionalism and family friendly entertainment.

Regularly thrilling crowds at Australia’s major events including Sydney Royal Easter Show, Ekka, Adelaide, Melbourne and Canberra Royal Shows, Supercars, NRL and many more, this is an incredible show for all ages, and one not to be missed!

The guest speaker in the AgTech pavilion this year will be Felicity Turner.

An experienced agricultural professional with over 25 years in the industry, Felicity has been working in crop and pasture agronomy across mixed farming systems.

Her expertise spans soil management, crop and pasture production, and sustainable farming practices.

Felicity currently balances her time as a part-time farmer and advisor, working on innovative, sustainable agricultural projects aimed at improving productivity and environmental stewardship.

Her passion lies in supporting farmers to adopt practices that benefit both the land and the community.

With her practical experience and passion for innovation, Felicity continues to drive positive change in the industry through hands-on experience and expert guidance.

The ‘Quince Queen’ Cathy Hughes will be welcomed to the Yakka Pavilion in 2026, providing cooking demonstrations throughout the program.

Discover the joy of quinces and learn how to enjoy them all year round through preserves and baked foods.

The fashion parade will make a return in 2026 – this is always popular with visitors and often showcases some of the exhibitors.

And when it comes to non-stop entertainment, the South East Field Days will not disappoint.

Young and old will be kept busy all day long, with many popular attractions including the Old Macdonald’s Travelling Farm, Adelaide Balloon Man, Rev It Up Racing (car racing simulator), Burrungule Park Laser Tag, Rob’s Carraige Rides, Ultimate helicopter rides, local musician Leah Briggs and, new for 2026, will be Matt Gray music.

The South East Field Days prides itself on being a family friendly event so make sure you gather your family and friends and head to Lucindale for a great day out.
