Alleged Woolies burgular arrested

A WOMAN has been arrested following an alleged burglary attempt at Camperdown’s Woolworths last Monday.

Camperdown Police Acting Senior Sergeant Stuart Revell said police were immediately alerted on January 12 and arrested the 37-year-old at the scene.

“She allegedly brandished a weapon and threatened staff whilst trying to steal items from the store,” he said.

“She has been charged with robbery and theft-related offences.

“She will be appearing in court at a later date.”
