Another win for Marion

MARION Venn has continued her good form on the golf course, taking out last week’s stableford round at the Terang Golf Club.

Venn recorded another excellent round of 37 points at last Thursday’s stableford event to finish ahead of the field.

Eighteen players enjoyed the day’s round, with Michelle Beasley finishing runner-up on 35 points.

B grade was won by Karen Mather on 32 points, with Terry Beasley runner-up on 29 points on countback from Janet Saunders.

Balls down the line went to Nick Marshall 34, Margie Driscoll 32 and Aileen Clarke 32.

Nearest the pins: 9th from off the green Lynette Coxon, 11th Aileen Clarke.

The first round of the silver spoon went to Marion Venn.
