Baker leads the way
AN unbeaten knock of 64 saw Bookaar opener Simon Baker lead the way to victory last weekend.

Facing Boorcan at the Camperdown College oval on Saturday, the Pelicans put on a great display with the bat, reaching 2/132 in the 15th over.
Earlier in the day Boorcan won the toss and elected to bat first but were contained to 10/128 in the 39th over.
Daniel Boyle was top scorer for the Dragons with 30 from 45 balls, in an innings which included four boundaries.
Bookaar’s Louis Darcy (3/19 off 10) and Tim Fitzgerald (3/19 off five) were the best of the bowlers.
In reply, the Pelicans took just short of 15 overs to reach their target, with Baker well supported at the crease by fellow opener Eddie Lucas (27 from 23 deliveries), Zachary Merrett (19no) and Albie Cheeseman (12).
Other round four division one winners in the South West competition included Heytesbury Storm, Cobden and Pomborneit.
Tomorrow (Saturday) will see Heytesbury face Camperdown at Timboon, Pomborneit host Bookaar, Woorndoo will travel to Boorcan and Ecklin will face Cobden.
