Baker wins club championship
CLINT Baker has taken out the club championship at Mortlake Golf Club.
Club captain Kevin Etherton with 2025 Club Champion Clint Baker.
Last weekend saw the final round of the club championships.
Baker took out the award finishing on 82-82-83-83 for a total score of 330.
Runner-up was Tyler Schafer with 82-81-81-89 and a total of 333.
In the B grade competition, Ben Boers was the winner with 91-89-88-86 for a total score of 354.
The runner-up was Les Dawson on 83-94-94-93 to take his total to 364.
The day’s event was won by Ian Jubb on 27-99-72, followed by Merv Hampson 30-103-73 on countback.
Nearest the pins: 3/12 and 6/15 Hamish Weatherly, 9/18 Kevin Etherton.
Balls down the line went to Steve Hubbard, Glen Byers, Ben Boers, Kevin Etherton and Clint Baker.
This weekend will be stableford (flag event).
