Beasley takes A grade
FORTY-nine players contested a stableford competition at the Terang Golf Club last Saturday.
Fred Beasley continued his good form, taking out A grade on 42 points, with Anthony Mills (11) 36 the runner-up.
B grade was won by Jeremy Attrill (16) 37 from Taj Podger (17) 36 on countback.
Balls down the line went to Shaun Maxfield (23) 36, Liam Venn (7) 35, Paddy O’Connor (15) 35, Sam Heffernan (14) 35, Lachlan Venn (31) 35 and Steven Clifford (12) 33.
Nearest the pins: 3rd Phil Beasley, 6th Colin Venn, 8th Gary Heubner and 11th Caleb Kavanagh.
Friday’s twilight nine-hole competition was won by Michelle Bourke on 21 points, ahead of Glen Driscoll on 20.
Sunday’s 18-hole stableford was won by Fred Beasley (+3) 38 from Tyler Beasley (5) 35.
This week will be a mixed Pinehurst all day today (Thursday), with twilight nine hole golf from 2.30pm Friday (composite course holes 1, 9, 15, 16, 17, 18, 10, 11 and 7).
Stableford can be played both Saturday and Sunday.
