Beasley wins at Terang

FRED Beasley has taken out last Saturday’s stableford event at the Terang golf course.

Beasley (+2 handicap) finished on 36 points to take the win ahead of runner-up Billy Wood (17) 35.

Twenty-eight players contested the event.

Down the line: George Beasley (scratch) 35, Daryl Johnstone (21) 35, Max Kavanagh (13) 32 and Tim Keane (10) 32 on countback.

Nearest the pins: 3rd and 11th George Beasley, 6th Tim Keane and 8th Luke Tebble.

Last Sunday’s 18-hole stableford winner was Stephen Arundell (8) 38 points from Liam Venn (8) 35.

Next Saturday will be stroke/monthly medal and putting.

Sunday will be stableford.
