COBDEN’S beloved book swap library has moved to a new home in the Curdie Street arcade.

Cobden Visitor Information Centre co-ordinator Juli Dwyer said the library, colloquially known as the book cupboard, had been relocated the Curdie Street arcade over the weekend.

“It will be on the wall where the firehose cupboard is near the old newsagents,” she said.

“We’re taking the opportunity to give it a clean out and restack the books.

“It will be good to have it back as people have been looking for it.”

Ms Dwyer said the visitor centre had been going well in its new location in Curdie Street.

“From November were’ going to open each Saturday up until Christmas,” she said.
