Big day at the crease for Boyle's
IT was the weekend for making some quick runs in the South West cricket competition last Saturday.

The Boyle brothers all had a great day out with the bat for their respective sides.
Boorcan’s Lachie Boyle went for the big bash, scoring a quick-fired 66 off 68 deliveries for Boorcan, while team-mate and brother Dan added 42 runs.
Lachie’s innings included 11 boundaries while Dan hit seven.
The pair played pivotal roles in Boorcan’s 9/214 tally (with Lachie also taking two catches and two stumpings behind the wickets), while the side restricted opponents’ Camperdown Lakers to 10/149.
Meanwhile, in the Cobden v Heytesbury Storm game, brother Matthew Boyle hit five boundaries on his way to 49 – with the Knights celebrating a marginal one run win over the Storm, 3/118 to 10/117.
The Knights’ bowling attack was also impressive, with Ashely Rosolin the key taking 4/15.
In other South West games, Pomborneit 10/194 just got over the line against Bookaar 10/192 (Fraser Lucas hitting seven boundaries on his way to 64).
Pomborneit’s Lahiru Fernando was effective at the crease, taking 4/36.
Woorndoo had a tough day out against Ecklin, making just 10/89 while Ecklin reached 4/90 to take the points.
Ecklin’s Stuart Timms made it difficult for the Tigers to score, taking 5/23 while team-mate (and vice captain) Jamie Dewell finished the day with figures of 4/25.
