Big field at Terang
A BUMPER field of 55 players enjoyed a stableford competition at the Terang Golf Club last weekend.
In the A grade competition, Max Kavanagh just edged out older brother Caleb to take out the event, finishing on 39 points (three ahead of Caleb on 36).
B grade was won by Sam Heffernan on 41 points from runner-up Ryley Hutchins on 37.
Down the line: Mark Scanlon 36, Stephen Arundell 35, Brad Lucas 35, George Beasley 34, Liam Venn 34 and Nigel Bruckner 34.
Nearest the pins: 3rd Riley Scanlon, 6th George Beasley, 8th Riley Scanlon and 11th Fred Beasley.
This weekend will be stableford all day on Saturday and an 18-hole stableford from 10.30am Sunday.
