Big field for final event
A STRONG field of 110 golfers enjoyed Corangamite Veterans Golf Association’s final event for 2024.
The event, held at the Camperdown course on Tuesday, December 10, attracted players from all 12 affiliated clubs.
The Camperdown course was in excellent condition and it was obvious club volunteers had spent many hours preparing the course.
As it was the final event for the year, association president Graham Clifford welcomed life members Don Nichols, Eric Hanford, Bob Bates and Bazil Hammond.
Also welcomed was John Robertson from the Victorian Veterans Golf Association, along with representatives from Ballarat and District Veterans Golf and Glenelg Veterans Golf.
Many thanks to Camperdown members for providing lunch.
