Big loss for Bombers
KOROIT handed down a 124 thumping over Cobden in the round seven Hampden League senior football clash on Saturday.

After scores were level at quarter time at the Cobden Community Bank Recreation Reserve, the Saints kicked 23 goals to three in the remaining three quarters to record a 26.10.166 to 6.6.42 win.
Sam Dobson bagged nine goals for the visitors, with Connor Byrne kicking five.
Matthew Drayton and Michael Koroneos combined to kick all six of the Bombers goals between them, with Drayton kicking four and Koroneos two.
Matt Kemp, Jordan Fowler, Drayton, Angus Uwland, Sam Thow and Gus Walsh were the Bombers best in the loss.
This Saturday Cobden take on Camperdown at the Leura Oval.
The reserves match saw Cobden move a game clear of Koroit with an 8.9.57 to 5.3.33.
Best for the Bombers in the win were Tully Darcy, Kayden Daffy, Lachlan Rosolin, Billy Roberts, Ryan Mottram and James Hallyburton, with Rosolin kicking four goals.
Koroit scored a thumping 179-point win in the under 18s, 27.18.180 to 0.1.1.
Noah Bignell, Micah Darcy and Rusty Ponting were Cobden’s best.
In the under 16s Cobden scored a 5.9.39 to 5.2.32 win in the under 14 football.
Fletcher White, Clem Walsh and Jed Watson were best for the Bombers, with White, Watson, Ike Valckx, Charlie Dunn and Oscar Uebergang kicking a goal each.
In the under 12s, Koroit had a 7.4.46 to 0.0.0 win.
Jack Robertson, Cayden Mason, Harry White, Nicholas Campbell and Anderson Pekin were best for the junior Bombers.
The Open netball saw Koroit record a resounding 75-28 win.
Best for Cobden in the loss were Grace Taylor, Matilda Darcy and Macey Hicks, with Emily Finch shooting 20 goals.
Koroit also got the points in division one with a 34-22 win.
Isabelle Hutt, Jessica Walsh and Macey Hicks were best for the Bombers.
The division two game saw a 47-34 win to Koroit.
In division three, Koroit also had a win, 36-13.
Caitlyn Mahony, Tonya Spokes and Georgia Darcy were Cobden’s best, with Maggie Conheady shooting eight goals.
The 17 and under game saw Koroit have a big 62-15 win.
Sarah Bridges, Sophie Halliday and Matilda Narik were best for Cobden, with Marley Howard shooting nine goals.
The 17 and under reserves netball went Koroit’s way, 43-13.
Best for Cobden were Chloe Anderson, Greta Darcy and Lily Baxter, with Ava Bonner scoring nine goals.
The 15 and under netball saw Koroit score a 45-19 win.
Zaya Howard, Stephanie Fleming and Grace Hester were best for Cobden.
Koroit won the 15 and under reserves 15-7.
Bridie Roberts, Sienna Anderson and Mollie Rochfort were best for the Bombers.
The 13 and under netball saw a 30-19 win to Koroit.
Taja Delaney-Hutchins, Mahli Baxter and Zahlia Hill were best for the Bombers, with Hill shooting 11 goals.
Koroit also had a 36-9 win in the 13 and under reserves netball.
Esther Couch and Emerson Warren were best for the junior Bombers.
