COBDEN racing sensation Zac Stevens added to his growing trophy cabinet last weekend after a strong performance in New South Wales.
The eager 15 year-old finished third in the junior micro 600 class at Lake Liddell on Saturday.
The Cobden Technical School year nine student was thrilled with his performance and follows on from his Rookie of the Year title in Victoria.
“He recently had a big crash at Avalon, which he fortunately walked away from unscathed but that certainly didn’t deter him,” proud mum Jedda Couch said.
“He had his first heat win at Horsham in the Junior Formula 500s and on the weekend started the A-Main in pole position.
“He had a great weekend and we’re super proud of his efforts.”
