Big win for Knights
COBDEN Knights dominated their home ground last weekend, celebrating a 44-run win over Ecklin.

Saturday’s round 11 one-day match proved a successful one for the Knights.
Having won the toss and elected to bat, the Knights’ opening pair of Matthew Boyle (10) and Jonty Robertson (29) got the scoreboard ticking.
Team-mates Campbell Walsh (33), Kaplan McCann (30) and Parker Walsh (25) continued their good form with the bat, taking the Knights to 10/204.
Parker Walsh was also effective with the ball, taking 3/43 from eight overs.
He was well supported at the crease by Simon Murfett (2/27) and Darcy Meade (2/21) among the wicket takers.
In reply Ecklin was restricted to 10/160 after 47 overs, with vice-captain Jamie Dewell smashing his way to 45 from 42 deliveries.
Best of the bowlers for the visitors was Luke Delaney (4/33 from five overs), Jamie Dewell 2/35 and Harry Carter 2/34.
Bookaar’s division one side was also big winners last Saturday, reaching 2/349 in their 50 overs while restricting opponents Heytesbury Storm to 10/155 in the 45th over.
For Bookaar, Simon Baker was unstoppable, smashing an unbeaten 166 from 144 deliveries while team-mate Eddie Lucas made 77 and captain Lachlan Greene reached 56.
In reply, the Storm’s Chris Vogels was top scorer for the side on 22.
Best of the bowlers for Bookaar were Louis Darcy 4/46 and Tim Fitzgerald 3/20.
