Birds race from Mildura
CAMPERDOWN Pigeon Club raced 19 birds from Mildura last weekend.
Graeme McKenzie was Camperdown’s winner, with one of his birds hitting the landing board after being on the wing for seven hours, 28 minutes and 38 seconds (velocity 1014.45 m/mins).
Second place went to Rex Perkins (velocity 951.01).
There will be no racing this weekend.
The next race will be from Broken Hill the following weekend.
