Bloods celebrate
RYLEY Hutchins has been named top footballer for season 2022 for the Terang Mortlake Football Netball Club.

RYLEY Hutchins has been named top footballer for season 2022 for the Terang Mortlake Football Netball Club.
The Bloods celebrated their 2022 Hampden League season with a senior presentation evening last Thursday.
Ryley topped the vote count ahead of runner-up Xavier Vickers, while Will Kain was the leading goal kicker with 46 goals.
In the reserves count, Toby Harris was named best and fairest player, with Jake Lee runner-up.
The under 18.5 best and fairest award went to Will Owen, with Will Layley finishing runner-up.
In the netball awards, Aimee Moloney topped the poll in the open best and fairest count, followed by runner-up Jacqui Arundell.
The Bloods award went to Ava Grundy.
Other award recipients were as follows:
Division one – best and fairest Jess Baxter, runner-up Sarah Davis. Bloods award Maddison Chesshire;
Division two – best and fairest Ash Hunger, runner-up Kristy Crawley. Bloods award Stacey Boyd;
Division three – best and fairest Amy Conheady, runner-up Sophie Conheady. Bloods award Zoe Barker;
17 and under – best and fairest Ava Grundy, runner-up Anna Dickson. Bloods award Ruby Kenna;
Jane Irving received the Maureen Giblin Blood of the Year award while Emma Lucas received the Barry Robertson Club Person of the Year; and
Life memberships were presented to Sam McLean, Gus Bourke, Jason Conheady, Mark Carroll, Luke Heffernan and Michael Williams.
A junior vote count and presentation day was held earlier in the month and was well attended by families and supporters.
Junior Club Person of the Year went to Tim Carroll.

Under 18 girls:
Best and fairest – Sophie Curran, runner-up Annabelle Glossop.
Most improved Millie Goodland, most consistent Claire Kennedy, most determined Mackenzie Bortland and leading goal kicker Sophie Curran.
Under 16s:
Best and fairest – Tyler Vickers, runner-up Liam Anders.
Most versatile Riley Kelly, most courageous Will Layley, most improved Oliver Kenna, coaches award Mitchell Harvey and best team man Henry Smith.
Under 14s:
Best and fairest - Max Heffernan, runner-up Josh Slater.
Most determined Jack Ritchie, most consistent Charlie Kenna, most improved Tayte McMaster, coaches award Cameron Goddard, best team man Kane Killen, best in finals Liam McGuinness and most promising Sam Wareham.
Netball
17 and under reserves:
Best and fairest – KiarnaMurfett, runner-up Scarlett Sagnol, Bloods award Molly Goddard.
15 and under:
Best and fairest – Lara Clarke, runner-up Holly Jones and Bloods award Millie Scanlon.
