Blue Gum truck provides access
RESIDENTS were able to access government services without leaving their towns over the past two weeks.
Providing access: A mobile Services Australia truck stopped off across the Corangamite Shire over the past few weeks.
The Services Australia truck, Blue Gum, made stops in towns across the Corangamite Shire, including Skipton, Lismore and Camperdown.
Blue Gum was in Skipton last Wednesday, while Lismore and Camperdown saw visits on Monday and Tuesday respectively.
Residents were able to seek assistance from Services Australia staff for Centrelink claims, Medicare registrations and accessing online services.
Information about the National Disability Insurance Scheme and Department of Veterans’ Affairs programs was also provided to residents.
