Boers wins at Mortlake

BEN Boers took out last Saturday’s stableford at the Mortlake Golf Club.

Boers (10) 40 points was followed by Craig Fowler (12) 39.

Third place went to Hamish Weatherly (4) 38 points.

Nearest the pins: 3/12 Hamish Weatherly, 6/15 Ben Boers and 9/18 Wes Wareham.

The eagles nest on the 14th went to Hamish Weatherly.

Balls down the line: Hamish Weatherly, Rob Field, Peter Palmer, Kurt Robertson, Wes Wareham and Paul Wareham on countback.

Mark McDonald from Coomealla was the day’s visitor.

Last Friday’s nine-hole twilight was won by Merv Hampson 15-47-32, with Kevin Etherton the runner-up on 5-39-34.

Third place went to Richard van Diemen 7-43-3 while Kevin Etherton was nearest the pin on the ninth.
