Bombers shine in Hampden squad
COBDEN was well represented in the Hampden interleague squads recently.

COBDEN was well represented in the Hampden interleague squads recently.
The Bombers’ Gus Walsh, Jonty Robertson and Ben McGlade were all part of the league’s victorious under 17 football side while Mark Marriot and Jordy Fowler both played in the under 23 team.
The weekend before last saw the two Hampden sides travel to Ballarat to take on the Ballarat Football Netball League.
Both games were played in good spirits, with Hampden showing its depth of talent.
The under 23 side put on a great display of skills and team-work but were unable to overcome the home side, going down 11.9.75 to 13.13.91.
Hampden’s under 17s got the job done in a strong performance, winning 9.11.65 to 4.6.30.
Cobden’s Gus Walsh, Jonty Robertson and Ben McGlade performed well in Hampden’s under 17 squad.
