Boost for society
MEMBERS of the Cobden Historical Society received a boost recently.
Support appreciated: Cobden Uniting Church Adult Fellowship’s Elizabeth Wilson presents Cobden Historical Society member Jennifer Kripp with a cheque to purchase a new printer.
Cobden Uniting Church Adult Fellowship’s Elizabeth Wilson presented the Cobden Historical Society with a cheque for $500.
“The Uniting Church Adult Fellowship decided to give a couple of donations, including one to the Cobden Historical Society,” she said.
“The historical society will be using it to purchase a new printer.”
Cobden Historical Society member Jennifer Kripp thanked the group for its donation.
“We’re very appreciative,” she said.
“It (the printer) will really help us; it will be used to put labels on displays, print letters and research.”
