Bostocks Creek remains online

IN the article ‘Offline in protest’ (Friday, May 23), the article listed the Bostocks Creek Country Fire Authority (CFA) brigade as among the brigades in the district which are offline in protest against the Emergency Services and Volunteers Fund levy.

This was incorrect. The Bostocks Creek CFA brigade is still online and continuing to serve the community.

The article also implied the offline brigades will not attend incidents.

This is incorrect – brigades will still be attending incidents where needed.
