CAMPERDOWN Little Athletics Club members enjoyed a successful week seven of competition last Friday afternoon.

Thank you to everyone who was at the track, including the 100 athletes who competed across five events each.

Some big PB’s in many events for a lot of athletes, and the perfect weather saw a great night had by all.

There is only four weeks left before the Christmas break.

The last night of the season will be December 15 which is the Christmas break-up (more information in coming weeks).

Thank you to all athletes and families for being patient while a group photo was taken at the start of the night.

Thank you also to all parents who volunteered for the roster and helped get through the events.

It is hoped the new roster was helpful in showing everyone where the help was needed.

Last Sunday we saw 30 athletes head to Warrnambool for the Western Country region relay carnival.

As relays are the only team event Camperdown participates in, it was great to not only see it close to home, but with such a great number of athletes attending.

The centre had some incredible results on the day, great sportsmanship shown, and also had many of our athletes joining in to have a run in a team environment.

Thank you to Warrnambool Little Athletics Centre for hosting, and to the Western Country Region centre officials, our centre parents who completed a duty, and to all other centres who supported us throughout the day to make it so successful.

Any parental feedback is welcome.

The committee is incredibly proud of the way families and athletes represented our centre, and we will await the progressions to see if any of our athletes will go through to the state relay championships in Melbourne on December 16.
