Group publicity officer Kelly Wain encouraged community members to consider getting involved, with Joeys, Cubs and Scouts on offer.
“We’re planning an information session on September 6 at 7pm,” she said.
“We’re also looking for more kids to join.
“We lost a lot of numbers during COVID and we’re looking to recover our numbers.”
Ms Wain said the Cobden Scout Group offers programs for children aged five to 15.
“We have Joeys which is five to eight, Cubs are nine to 11 and Scouts are 11 to 15,” she said.
“Joeys meet Monday afternoons followed by Cubs and Scouts are a Wednesday.
“There’s lots of fun things involved; there’s also opportunities at a state and national level.”
Ms Wain said Cobden Scout Groups was a positive group to be involved with, with members being involved in a variety of activities.
“We had a great group of leaders and life gave them some great opportunities and now we’re looking forward to fill that gap,” she said.
“There might be people out there with time to give.
“The more people that support and help the less work there is.”
