MEMBERS of the Cobden Historical Society are appealing for information on local schools.
MEMBERS of the Cobden Historical Society are appealing for information on local schools.
Society member Jennifer Kripp said a number of photographs of schools had recently been donated.
“We’re in the process of cataloguing and researching district schools,” she said.
“We have a photograph of a school we have no information on. Would anyone be able to help us with information on what school it is and where it is (see photograph)?"
“We’re also trying to find out about Jancourt East Primary School. We know it opened in 1913 and closed in 1981."
“If anyone could give us information on the photo or other schools in the area we would appreciate it.”
