Car fire in Jancourt

Country Fire Authority (CFA) brigades and Victoria Police responded to a car fire at approximately 4.49am Monday, January 9 in Jancourt East.

“Crews arrived to find a car fully engulfed in fire with a small grass fire also nearby,” a CFA spokesperson said.

“CFA had three units on scene from Cobden, Jancourt, and Carpendeit South.

“The incident was declared under control at 5.11am.”

Victoria Police said the investigation into the cause of the fire remains ongoing.
