Carmody wins at Terang

WITH a score of 34 points, Judy Carmody won the ladies’ all-day competition at Terang Golf Club last Thursday.

Eighteen players contested the competition and five players entered the nine-hole event.

Judy was followed by runner-up Elaine Hrabar on 29.

The men’s winner was Stephen Arundell on 39 points, with Phil Beasley 38 runner-up on countback from Harvey Roberts.

Balls down the line went to Harvey Roberts 38 points, George Beasley 34 and Billy Woods 33.

The nine-hole stableford winner was Danny Kenna on 20 points.

This week’s competition will be an all-day 18 hole stableford and nine-hole competition (played on holes 10-18).
