Cars tackle Mt Leura
MORE than 80 drivers raced against the clock as they wound their way up Mt Leura last weekend.

The third round of the Victorian Hillclimb Championship once again didn’t disappoint, with the Camperdown mount providing an ideal backdrop for drivers and enthusiasts.
After two days and nine runs, Dean Tighe took race honours in his Dallara F395 in a time of 28.39.
Position two went to David Mahon in his Dallara Hayabusa F394 with a 28.59, while Alan Foley (in the RFoley Formula Libre) rounded out the podium with a 28.70.
So far this season, the championship has had three different winners in three events – and is now shaping up to be a close battle for the 2025 title.
Last weekend’s round was hosted by the Ballarat Light Car Club.
