Cashmore and Broderick win medal
LAST Saturday 41 members played stroke for the monthly medal at the Timboon Golf Club.
A grade winner and monthly medal winner was Peter Cashmore with nett 69, with runner-up Neil Gowlandon 71 and Tori Ziegelaar 73.
B grade winner and monthly medallist was Gordon Broderick with nett 73, followed by Terry O’Connor with 77 and Mick Smith on 78.
Judy Delaney had the best ladies’ score with nett 77 on a count-back from Donna Weller.
Nearest the pins: 5th Jeff Costin, 7th Neil Gowland, 10th Craig Saunders and 14th Neil Gowland.
The Nutrien ball on the 11th was won by Chris Huffadine
On Thursday the 12-hole Rail View Hotel chicken day was won by Darryl Neal from Tori Ziegelaar.
Nearest the pin was Rohan Johns.
This Thursday, April 25 will be the Anzac Day stableford, Timboon v Peterborough at Timboon.

This Saturday, April 27, is Timboon v Cobden at Cobden.
Timboon players wanting to enter the competition need to ring Cobden Golf Club on 5595 1393 and tell bar staff their name and Golflink number and the time they want to tee off between 8am and 12.30pm.
They will try and have two Timboon and two Cobden players in each group.
Twenty-three players competed in a stableford competition last Wednesday, April 17.
A grade winner was Janine Stevens on 39 points from runner-up Sherine Healey on 36 points.
B grade was won by Marie Smith 34 points on countback from Judy Myers.
C grade was won by Ev Boyd with 38 points from Netty Hose on 31 points.
Nearest the pins: 4th A grade Ellen Darcy, B grade Judy Myers, C grade Jo Hintum and men Sam Rix; 10th A grade Janine Stevens, B grade Carmel Darcy, C grade Netty Hose and men Sam Rix.
Nearest the pin on the 7th was Ellen Darcy while the second shot on the 8th went to Di Adams (A grade) and Judy Myers (B grade).
Balls down the line went to Sam Rix (32), Di McKenzie, Trevor Gardner, Sandra Mason, Alex Holster, David Stewart and Rhonda Alexander 31.
