Casual look for a good cause
ANYONE who visited the Healthsave Pharmacy in Camperdown on Monday may have noticed the staff were dressed differently.

The pharmacy held a causal dress day to support pharmacy assistant Riley Stephenson and her team’s Point to Pinnacle fundraiser.
“We’re raising funds for Carrie’s Beanies for Brain Cancer as we lost my brother Lachie Stephenson to brain cancer a couple of years ago – we’re going to help this to help the researchers try to find a cure,” Ms Stephenson said.
Lachie Stephenson died in January 2022 from a rare type of paediatric brain cancer, with his family having participated in the Point to Pinnacle since 2023.
Ms Stephenson said she felt “very supported” by her colleagues, who all donned casual clothes and hosted tins adorned with Lachie Stephenson’s face to collect donations.
“I’m very lucky to have people in town who are willing to support our worthy fundraiser,” she said.
“I’m just happy everyone’s happy to get in on the fun and help us get to Tassie.
“Mum and I have done it the past two years, and we’ll go again this year.”
This year will see Ms Stephenson and mum Amy joined by Brooke, Gus, Bentley and Adele Currell as they walk from Wrest Point to the pinnacle of Mount Wellington on November 16.
“We’re just happy with whatever – a little bit goes a long way.”
