Caution urged amid drought
THE Country Fire Authority (CFA) has called for caution when burning off in autumn after new data shows volunteers responded to 936 incidents caused by escaped burn-offs last year.
Caution urged: With fire conditions easing across the state, the Country Fire Authority has called on those getting ready to conduct burn-offs to register their burns ahead of time and follow all safety procedures.
