WILLOUGHBY Perriss has been selected as one of only three Victorians to attend next month’s Australian Olympic Change-Maker summit in Canberra.

The Cobden Technical School student, along with fellow classmate Brodie Foster, was nominated for the Olympic Change-Maker award for 2022.

Both students created a one-minute video displaying their leadership and how they are driving change.

From this video submission, Willoughby was selected to attend and be part of the 2022 Australian summit, which will take place at the Australian Institute of Sport in December.

Willoughby will be one of only three Victorian students to attend, and only 25 students nationally.

From over 1000 nominations and submissions made nationally, the committee was impressed with how Willoughby was working towards and helping make change in his community.
