Chloe wins Dot Ibbs trophy

CHLOE Healey has shown consistent form on the golf course to take out this year’s Dot Ibbs Trophy at the Cobden Golf Club.

Eleven players competed in the first round of the Dot Ibbs stableford competition, in reasonable conditions, on Wednesday, October 29.

Sherine Healey won the first round on a score of 30 points, followed by Chloe Healey on 28.

Nearest the pins: A grade – Chloe Healey, B grade – Di McKenzie and C grade – Jo Hintum.

Balls down the line went to Pat Ticker.

The second and final round of the competition was played on Wednesday, November 5 in warm but at times wet conditions.

The winner of the day (and eventual overall winner) was Chloe Healey on 32 points, followed by runner-up Pat Tickner on 27.

Nearest the pins: 4th and 7th holes Chloe Healey, second shot on the 8th Ellen Darcy.
