Christmas service is on this Sunday
TIMBOON Uniting Church after school activities (ASA) children have been busy practicing their nativity play for this year’s Christmas service.

Church council secretary Brenda Parfett said the Christmas service, which will include the children and members of the congregation, will be held at the Timboon Uniting Church on Sunday, December 1 at 11am.
She said the service will be followed by a party lunch.
“ASA has been held at the church for over 10 years, but finally at some time all good things come to an end,” Mrs Parfett said.
“Kathy Williams has been leader of the group teaching Bible stories through reading the Bible, videos, colouring in, stories and some amazing craft work all relating to the story or theme of the day.
“This craft work is then on display for congregation members to see what children do at our group.
“I have been privileged to have been a helper and meet some special children over the years.”
Mrs Parfett encouraged the wider community to attend the Christmas service.
“All are welcome to come and see the children tell the story of Jesus’s birth in the little play about a Little Christmas,” she said.
