Clay flies at Simpson
THERE was plenty of action on track at the Heytesbury Stockfeeds Simpson Speedway last weekend.

Despite an early Sunday morning finish, as the result of several crashes throughout the program, the evening provided tight racing and an abundance of entertainment for race fans of all ages.
The 80th Victorian Speedcar Championship saw race honours go to Kaidon Brown, closely followed by Brad Mosen, with Rusty Hickman rounding out the podium.
The running of the 49th Trevor Podger Memorial was also action-packed, with Dane Court showing plenty of speed and skill to take the chequered flag ahead of Shaun Walsh, with Jacob Pitcher in third.
The wingless print super series (round seven) was abandoned due to a broken catch fence.
This weekend will see action return to the Simpson Speedway for a two night program, beginning on Friday.
The venue will host the 84th running of the Australian Speedcar Championship, with the Formula 500s and the SRA Victoria 360/LS Sprintcars also on the program.
