TUESDAY felt like coming home for Dr Andrew Griffiths and receptionist Wilma White.
Dr Griffiths said he was pleased to return to his former doctor clinic in Curdie Street – Clinic on Curdie.
“My staff decided to reopen this clinic. If it wasn’t for their enthusiasm, I don’t think it would have happened,” he said.
“We were here for 21 years before moving elsewhere for a short time. Now we are very excited about getting started, we feel like we have come home.”
Dr Griffiths said he was pleased to re-open Clinic on Curdie.
“Being on the main corner in town you really feel that you are part of the town,” he said.
“Cobden people are just so nice and it is a pleasure to do business with them.
“Common courtesy and mutual respect is what we were accustomed to when we worked here previously. I’m sure this is exactly how it is going to continue.”
Mrs White said she was looking forward to welcoming back patients to the clinic.
“Thank you to the whole community who have supported us,” she said.
“It’s wonderful to be back open.”
The clinic is now open and will be open to clients each Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.
For more information contact the clinic on 5231 1365.
