The Storm fell just four runs short of a win over Bookaar at Camperdown College last Saturday.

Having lost the toss and Bookaar electing to bat first, the Storm found themselves chasing 158 runs.

The Storm’s Chris Vogels had a day out with the ball, taking 3/25 off 8.5 overs.

Best of the bowlers also included Josh Dunne 2/18 off 10 overs and Henry Stevens 2/33.

Also effective with the ball were Paul Vogels 1/24, Thomas Hunt 1/36 and Sam Lenehan 1/21.

In reply, Heytesbury reached 10/154 in the final over.

Henry Stevens made 28 off 61 balls while Paul Vogels (13) and Sam Lenehan (12) also reached double figures.

The Rebels will be keen to notch up their first win of the season in round two this weekend when they take on Woorndoo at home.
