The team was defeated by Colac 1 under the dome 82-36.

All rinks were overwhelmed and are now looking ahead to playing Camperdown Golf.

Golf are below Cobden on the ladder, but cannot be dismissed playing on their home turf.

Division two had a bye which boosted them into fourth place, however they face the daunting task of playing Derrinallum at Derri, who are third on the ladder.

Cobden’s division two weekend pennant continued their winning form with a win over Birregurra 93/83.

Birregurra is in danger of being relegated next season and Cobden is sitting comfortably in second place.

Sadly, neighbouring town rival Camperdown defeated Cobden’s division three team at the Thornton Street complex 96/69.

Cobden are still in third place, but are only one point ahead of Colac 3, who they will play at home this coming Saturday.

Division four had a bye and remains in fourth place. They play the team above them this week at home.

In the Corangamite Women’ Singles Cham-pionships, Kathryn Robertson won her semi-final against E. Baulch of Winchelsea 25/23.

She faced Rebecca McMahon in the final losing 25/9.

It was a great effort by Kathryn to reach the final however Rebecca’s experience was hard to overcome.
