Cobden celebrates Christmas
THE Cobden community turned out with festive cheer for the annual Christmas-On-Apex event on Sunday.
Residents settled in for an afternoon of family friendly fun.
Despite the warm weather residents took up the opportunity to celebrate as a community ahead of Christmas.
Live music, good old-fashioned lawn games, the Monster Shopping Raffle Draw and of course a visit from Santa ensured the annual event was a success.
This year’s lucky Monster Shopping Raffle was won by Lillian Angus who will be busy spending $500 worth of vouchers in Cobden businesses.
Judging was also concluded on the Best Christmas House Lights Competition with Mallory Bellman at 36 Parrott Street winning the prize this year for her lights display featuring a host of blow-up Christmas characters.
Desire Body and Beauty took out the accolade for best dressed shop window this year.
