Cobden ladies golf
TWENTY ladies competed in the Doris Chambers pairs at the Cobden Golf Club last week.
The event was won by Pat Tickner and Marie Smith with 41 points, followed by Ellen Darcy and Jeannine White on 40 points.
The event was used to selected pairs to represent Cobden at Sanctuary Lakes in October.
Nearest the pin: 4th and 10th Thelma Green and Janine Stevens; 7th Judy Myers and Deb Ferrari.
Balls down the line: Judy Myers and Deb Ferrari.
The ladies welcomed Julie Simmonds, who has earned her official handicap and will join competitions out on the course.
