Cobden Police station welcomes Constable Gagan Singh

A NEW police officer has joined the beat in Cobden.

First Constable Gagan Singh joined the station recently and is getting to know the wider community while settling into the role.

He transferred to Cobden from Sunbury.

“I just wanted something different,” 1st Const Sing said.

“I wanted to increase my police knowledge and my resume.

“It’s a different pace.”

As well as being a slower lifestyle, 1st Const Singh said he was looking forward to being able to spend more time with his two children.

He said he was enjoying the area so far and was looking forward to meeting more residents.
