Cobden SES members receives service awards
MEMBERS of the Cobden State Emergency Service (SES) were recognised for their years of service recently.

MEMBERS of the Cobden State Emergency Service (SES) were recognised for their years of service recently.
Unit controller Matt Robertson said an awards ceremony was held in Cobden this month.
“This had previously been delayed due to COVID,” he said.
“Each member has held various roles and completed many certifications over this time.”
Mr Robertson said volunteer support officer and manager regional operations readiness from VICSES in addition to Cobden unit members and families attended.
Awards presented were:
Dick Tracey was awarded a medal and certificate for 10 years of service;
Jeff Mason was awarded a medal and certificate for 15 years of service;
John Brewer was awarded a medal and certificate for 40 plus years of service; and
Graham Ralph was awarded a medal and certificate for 40 plus years of service.

Cobden SES trains each Tuesday between 6.30pm and 9pm.
