Cobden to celebrate Christmas

DECK the halls, throw on the Christmas lights and prepare to meet Santa this weekend in Cobden.

The annual Christmas-On-Apex will return on Sunday at Cobden’s Apex Park between 3pm and 6pm.

There will be plenty to do and see to help spread some Christmas magic this year including:

  • Live music;

  • Sausage sizzle;

  • Children’s activities;

  • Stalls and entertainment;

  • $5 mystery buckets; and

  • A visit from Santa.

The Community Bank Cobden and District Christmas-On-Apex event is free for the community, with attendees encouraged to bring a chair or picnic blanket and settle in to enjoy the festivities.

Shoppers are also running out of time to enter the annual shopper draw with businesses across Cobden having entry forms after making a purchase.

Entries will close on Friday for the Christmas Shopper Draw.

With more than $2000 in prizes and vouchers you have to be in to win it, with the first prize a $1200 bike donated by Adams Bikes and a further $1000 in vouchers and hampers.

The annual Cobden Christmas Lights Competition is on again with a $100 Community Bank savings account presented to the winner at the Christmas-On-Apex celebrations.
