Having enjoyed great success at the earlier HSSSD swim carnival, the students’ recent performance on the track earned them enough overall points to take home the 2026 shield.

The athletics carnival, held on Tuesday, March 17, saw students deliver outstanding performances while demonstrating strong sportsmanship through their willingness to support and encourage one another.

A particular highlight of the athletics carnival was securing half of the overall age group champion titles.

Congratulations to Zoe Unwin, Beau Smith, Quinn Clark, Maya Smith, Matilda Narik and Oliver Clark for their outstanding individual performances.

Fifteen students have now qualified for the upcoming regional competition, alongside the school’s 15 year old girls’ relay team.
