THE Camperdown Theatre Company and Lakes and Craters Band are once again joining forces to present the 73rd Camperdown Carols by Candlelight on Sunday, December 11.

THE Camperdown Theatre Company and Lakes and Craters Band are once again joining forces to present the 73rd Camperdown Carols by Candlelight on Sunday, December 11.

The community event will be held at the Theatre Royal, starting at 7.30pm and is free to attend.

Carols organiser Toby McKenzie is looking forward to celebrating Christmas through song.

“We are working on creating a wonderful event and we are very pleased to be back in the theatre with a live audience,” he said.

“Everyone is welcome and encouraged to come along.

“There are some great local performers lined up and the band and choir have been preparing for many weeks to ensure that it is afantastic night.

“It will be a fun filled weekend, with ‘Celebrate Christmas in Camperdown’ happening down the street as well.”

Local performers include:

• The Lakes and Craters Band;

• Carols by Candlelight Choir;

• Graeme Bennett;

• Mick Saunders;

• Demby McKenzie;

• Toby McKenzie;

• Louise Rothman;

• Eric Read;

• Eileen McKenzie; and

• Jammin’ Studio and Camperdown Community House Choir.

Doors open at 7pm. Battery candles will be available for $2.
